Critterfence Terms And Conditions 

Please review the following information carefully and reach out with any questions before placing an order.

By ordering from any Critterfence-operated website (Critterfence.com, Deerfencing.com, or Bennersgardens.com), you agree to these terms and conditions.

Order Confirmation

Before clicking "Place Order" at checkout, please double-check all details, including items in your cart and shipping address. Once your order is placed, no changes or cancellations can be made, and the order will be shipped to the address provided.

Transparency

We value our customers and the team members who handle and fulfill your orders. Our products are often large and heavy, and processing and shipping them involve specific regulations and costs. 

Additional Information on Our Terms and Conditions:

  • Address Changes: Address changes with UPS or FedEx cost approximately $20 per package. This fee, charged directly by the carrier, applies to any modification, including adding a suite or unit number. Additionally, changes may sometimes be unsuccessful, and packages may still be delivered to the original address.
  • LTL Freight Address Changes: For LTL freight carriers, address changes (referred to as a reconsignment fee) generally cost between $100 and $150, depending on the carrier.
  • Order Cancellations or Modifications: Orders are immediately sent to our warehouse, where they are loaded onto FedEx or UPS trailers with other orders. For safety and logistical reasons, we cannot retrieve or alter items once they are packed. We strive to process orders promptly, and once you click "Place Order," your order is generally considered shipped. Any modifications after this point must be handled through our return policy (see below).
  • Shipping Costs and Returns: Shipping large, heavy items can be costly. Residential, oversize, and additional handling surcharges apply, and returns are at the customer’s expense. Refunds will exclude the original shipping cost, and a restocking fee applies to cover credit card fees and our packing and shipping costs. We recommend ordering only what you need and reordering as necessary. Unlike typical e-commerce practices, we discourage over-ordering to help customers avoid costly returns. Critterfence does not profit from return fees; these fees cover the expenses associated with the return process.

Security and Privacy

To protect your privacy, we only have access to the last four digits of your credit card. Once an order is placed, we cannot modify it or add items. All transactions must be completed through our website, as we do not use manual credit card processing systems. This ensures we remain PCIDSS and PCI-compliant. We do not share your email with any third parties or send marketing emails.

Damaged Freight

Though rare (about 1 in 250 shipments), minor damage can occur during transit. We securely package, crate, and strap all materials, but please inspect your delivery for damage upon arrival. Regardless of its condition, please write "received subject to inspection" on the delivery paperwork. This allows time for inspection, and if any damage is found, we can arrange replacement items and file a claim with the carrier. Damage must be reported within 5 business days, as locating missing items after this period is unlikely.

Order Check-In

Customers are expected to check their orders within 30 days of receipt. If issues are found (e.g., incorrect or missing items), please notify us within this period. After 30 days, we are not responsible for order issues or missing parts.
